• Charlotte Sweet - Head of Tutoring

    As Head of the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) for Equal, Charlotte is responsible for leading, developing and managing our NTP offer.

    Our NTP offer enables schools to access high quality tutoring provision to support the attainment of all pupils, particularly those who are most disadvantaged.

    Charlotte has 16 years’ experience working in the Primary Education sector, both in England in Wales. Charlotte gained a First-Class Honours degree in English and Media Studies from Falmouth College of Arts. Charlotte gained her MA in Child and Adolescent Mental Health in 2017 and has a particular passion for improving outcomes for disadvantaged learners to ensure equality of opportunity.

    Charlotte is a designated Specialist Leader of Learning with a specialism of Early Years Phonics and Literacy. She has worked as a senior mentor for ITT students and is passionate about staff professional development. Charlotte has worked as both a Deputy Head and Headteacher and holds her National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).

  • Amy Nel - School Success Manager

    Amy is Equal Education Partners’ dedicated Project Coordinator for our National Tutoring Programme (NTP) tutoring provision.

    Amy is a secondary-qualified teacher of Religious Education with eight years of experience as a teacher and Head of Department at an all boys school in Luton.

    Amy is also completing her project management qualifications. At Equal, Amy is responsible for recruiting qualified teachers and specialist tutors for our NTP offering, coordinating tutoring activities for schools, and ensuring impact data is gathered and feedback obtained effectively.

    Amy gained her BA in Religious Studies at Bangor University and her PGCE at UWTSD.

  • Lois Williams - Talent Engagement Manager

    Lois is a Project Manager at Equal Education Partners working on a range of programmes, including leading Talent Engagement within our Tutoring team.

    Lois also manages international partnerships including the Seren International Online Summer School and the MIT Global Teaching Labs programmes.

    From North Wales, Lois compled her BA in Modern Languages at Jesus College, Oxford, and her MSt in Modern Languages at Trinity College, Oxford with Distinction, having focused on Early Modern French theatre.

    During her time at university Lois made access into Higher Education initiatives central to her experience and became the Wales Coordinator for mentoring charity Slipstream Education (formerly Project Access UK).

    Lois spent a year teaching English in schools in Brittany as part of her undergraduate course, which ignited her passion for education and cultural exchange.

  • Rebecca Martin - Compliance Manager

    Rebecca is a Project Manager and Compliance Manager at Equal Education Partners.

    As Compliance Manager, for our tutoring team, Rebecca manages all aspects of compliance & vetting of qualified teachers and specialist tutors in line with safer recruitment practice, Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance, and the requirements of our REC Audited Education accreditation.

    As a Project Manager, for our International Partnerships team, Rebecca supports the delivery of the MISTI Global Teaching Labs initiative and the Seren Academy’s summer programmes at Yale, Oxford and other institutions.

    Rebecca studied French and Spanish as an undergraduate at Swansea University, where she earned a First Class degree, and went on to gain a Distinction in her MA in Translation and Interpreting.
